The whole experience has been positive, from my first contact on the phone with a very friendly and reassuring Jo, to receiving Sam’s extremely detailed and honest report, one day only after carrying out the survey. I would strongly recommend this small independent business and would definitely be using their services again in the future.

If you're looking for a highly knowledgeable and reliable surveyor who will provide you with the information you need on a potential house purchase, I'd highly recommend My Property Surveyors. The entire experience was fantastic - from the initial communication with Jo, who was so friendly and helpful in arranging the survey, to my receipt of the survey, with Sam patiently answering all of my follow-up questions. I originally found them after searching for a surveyor with expertise in damp - Sam was able to advise on specific causes of damp in a house to help you effectively tackle the problem, which is extremely valuable information to have. But it wasn't just advice on damp that was helpful - the entire survey report was extremely detailed and provided me with exactly the information I needed to feel confident in understanding the condition of the house. Sam went above and beyond to make sure I had the information I needed and was happy with the report provided. Buying a house can be a stressful experience and working with Sam and Jo completely removed the stress from this aspect of my purchase. I wouldn't hesitate to use My Property Surveyors for any future house purchases and I would highly recommend them to anyone buying a house.

We were very happy will all aspects of the service provided by My Property Surveyors. Jo responded to our initial enquiry quickly and was very helpful in explaining the process and timescales to be expected. Sam provided a very detailed report and was happy to discuss and explain the findings. He also went above and beyond by agreeing to return to the property for a further small more intrusive inspection of a section of the roof after permission from the vendor was gained. First time needing a surveyor and I was so lucky to find them. Jo was so helpful and lovely to speak to on the phone. Unfortunately the access to the property was blocked twice by the tenant and they still tried a third time for me. Third times a charm as Jo said. I got the survey sooner than expected and it was in-depth but also easy to understand by someone who isn’t too knowledgeable about those things. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking with them the next property I want to purchase.

We needed a structural survey doing on our front wall. From start to finish the communication and friendliness of staff has been super..in particular Jo and Ian. Within days of making the initial enquiry (with Jo), the structural engineer (Ian) came out to inspect the wall. We had our extremely detailed report within 2 weeks. Very pleased with it. The price for the report was the least expensive of all the quotes we received. We would highly recommend AMS to others.

Really good service; Jo was on the ball, and the surveyor ( Thomas ) Called me on a Sat morning to give me the info so I didn’t have to wait.

I was provided a detailed survey which is accurate with lots of pictures which I’ve not had before in other surveys.

Plus, they are way cheaper than anyone else. Great work.

Survey process was impeccable from start to finish.

I completed an online form for quotes for a Level 2 survey report on Friday 22nd Jan 21.

I had a phone call from Jo on Saturday 23rd Jan 21 and Jo went through my requirements and how the process would work which I found really useful being a first time buyer.

Jo also explained the different types of surveys, what they covered and also emailed me an exemple home buyer report with my quote which I found really useful.

Jo liaised with my estate agents to find a suitable time for the survey to be undertaken and confirmed on Tuesday 26th January 21 that my survey had been booked for Wednesday 10th February 21. Jo advised at the time of confirmation that my survey report would be received within 3 working days of the survey being conducted and I received it on the Friday evening (12th Feb 21).

I received my invoice the same day as the written report and instructions to make payment were clear.

The written report was thorough, detailed and intuitive. The report was written in a language that was easy to interpret and highlighted areas of concerns that we had not noticed when viewing the property. I am very pleased with how the survey was undertaken and how quickly I received it.

S&D Surveyors Ltd provided a great service. Joanne responded quickly to survey request and scheduled it promptly the very next week. Sean Drysdale carried out the Home Buyer report in the property. He paid attention to the details and gave us lots of information on the potential issues and faults. The report was comprehensive and consisted of few parts, general inspection, electrical checks and plumbing checks. This was a real value for money as typical Home Buyer report does not include these. I would definitely recommend them!

Had a homebuyers survey done by S&D. The survey was booked in within a week of me enquiring, and we received an extremely in depth report the day after the survey took place.

Upon request, our surveyor Sean then spent 30 mins discussing in detail what next steps should be in terms of remediation. He also advised he was more than happy to continue to provide advice should it be needed. As a first time buyer, this couldn’t have been a better service.

Jo who works in the office also couldn’t have done enough to ensure that all further questions and requirements were addressed and was extremely friendly and professional throughout.

They also seem to be a fair bit cheaper than other local competitors which at first did raise questions as to the quality of service / report but I can’t fault them.

I couldn’t recommend S&D enough. They have been great.

What a totally expert and professional company from Joanne who I dealt with initially who is so patient and gave me excellent advice to my totally comprehensive report which Shaun explained in layman's terms to me. Fantastic service. Quick and comprehensive report
This team pulled out all the stops for me. I put in a request for a homebuyers survey on the day after New Years weekend. They rang the estate agents on the same day to book the survey and the estate agents wrongly hurried them saying we were due to complete very soon (completion was actually a few weeks away still). Jo and Lewis rose to the occasion booking the survey 2 days after they received my request and provided a fully comprehensive report that evening.

The report is one of the most comprehensive I have seen, with photos clearly showing where there may be areas of concern. The team showed that they truly care for their clients by the speed of their actions and the comprehensive nature of the report with full photographic evidence of what they surveyed. They did not once complain, or even mention, about the timeline given to them... I only found out about this from the estate agent themselves.
